Rich color palates create a striking impact for the fabric, home decor, gift, stationery, scrapbook, and party markets. Beyond Susan's 2D design collections, she loves to play with paper creating 3D concepts for greeting cards and other applications.

Susan enjoys working one-on-one with her manufacturers to create customized collections that cover the full spectrum of product development such as original alphabets, 2D & 3D die and laser cut concepts, home decor coordinates and preparing final digital art for production.

Susan has successfully licensed with clients such as Benartex, OESD, Pictura, Conimar, Museum of Modern Art, Current, Custom Decor, Design Design, The Popcorn Factory, Creative Converting, and Home Fires to name just a few.

Susan’s fabric lines have inspired another endeavor, Susan Rooney Patterns. Susan works with quilters to design and publish innovative quilting & sewing patterns.  It’s opened new doors and has even made her sit down to a sewing machine to make prototypes and test patterns!  Another great way to play!

Her greeting card with Museum of Modern Art won the prestigious Louie Award and was runner-up for card of the year, it continued to be successful for 11 years.
